I had a painting class that one of our projects was to recreate a Masters (Famous painter's) work. Is it a copyright issue to copy a Master's painting?
I believe you are only infringing copyright laws if you make profit out of the piece of artwork that you created. You also are only infinging if the piece is copywrited in the first place.
